Kodiak 2024 Tanner crab catch cut by nearly half

As a comparison: The 2023 Tanner crab harvest was 5.8 million pounds; 1.1 million pounds from the South Peninsula and 400,000 pounds at Chignik. The combined total of 7.3 million pounds made the Westward Region Tanner fishery the largest crab fishery in Alaska!
