Gov. Mike Dunleavy today nominated Nicole Kimball and Angela Drobnica to serve three-year terms on the North Pacific Fishery Management Council.
Nicole Kimball was selected for a second three-year term on the NPFMC. Kimball is vice president and fisheries policy analyst for the Pacific Seafood Processors Association.
“Angel” Drobnica is director of fisheries and government affairs for the Aleutian Pribilof Island Community Development Association. She has also been a member of the Council’s Advisory Panel for many years.
Drobnica will replace Cora Campbell, CEO of Silver Bay Seafoods if the nominations are approved by the US Secretary of Commerce. The NPFMC terms begin in August.
