Alaska salmon genetics is on the agenda for the day-long meeting of the AK Bycatch Review Task Force starting at 9am/AK on Wednesday, March 9.
The 13 member task force created by Gov. Dunleavy last November has been expanded to include more Native Alaskan participation.
It may or may not be scheduled for this week’s meeting, but trawl reps plan to make a presentation on what they do to reduce bycatch and share research and ideas.
